We are currently recruiting for suitably qualified candidates to fill the vacant positions below:

Job Title: Trade Marketing Manager
Location: Nigeria
The Job

  • Develop a TM strategy and annual TM plan for each category in the portfolio which delivers excellent trade execution to support/deliver the key consumer/brand objectives
  • Develop channel specific activities to exploit the particular opportunities identified for each category
  • Develop and provide the Sales teams with appropriate tools and support materials to drive outstanding execution of the TM category plans (sales presenters, POS materials)
  • Ensure that the TM plan takes full account of the Sales team’s ability to execute it and prioritize key initiatives to avoid overloading the field team
  • Develop a trade visibility programme which showcases the FMN portfolio in retail channels and encourages shoppers to select Golden Penny products over competitors
  • Ensure that all NPDs are fully supported by a comprehensive TM activity programme to maximize the chance of success for the new product(s)
  • Develop clear objectives for each Trade activity and undertake pre- and post-promotion evaluation to determine ROI and if the activity met its objectives

The person must:

  • Have good interpersonal skills
  • Be very detailed and research oriented.

Qualification/Experience

  • A Bachelors Degree and 5 ‘O’ level credits including Mathematics and English in not more than 2 sitting
  • Minimum 5 years sales experience in a major FMCG blue chip organization

Job Title: Digital and New Media Manager
Location: Nigeria
The Job

  • Managing online brand and product campaigns to raise brand awareness
  • Responsible for the adaptation of product content for the web
  • Conduct Customer and Consumer Survey on digital media channels
  • Initiate and Appraise Marketing Promotional activities in terms of Product/Brand performance, visibility and awareness through digital media channels
  • Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing.
  • Developing and managing digital marketing campaigns
  • Responsible for planning and budgetary control of all digital marketing

The person must:

  • Have good interpersonal skills
  • Be very detailed and research oriented.

Qualification/Experience

  • A Bachelors Degree and 5 ‘O’ level credits including Mathematics and English in not more than 2 sitting

Job Title: Category Manager
Location: Nigeria
The Job

  • Marketing Intelligence: Evaluation of market information and intelligence reports to enable customer and market profiling as well as to identify opportunities for growth, NPD/Innovation and to benchmark marketing activities of competitors.
  • Initiate, Develop, Coordinate and Monitor Strategic marketing plans on assigned Category Brands, ensuring effective utilization of resources and the use of appropriate channels and tactics to achieve set objectives.
  • Work on Product costing and Profitability. Analysis of product recipe to achieve competitive pricing and targeted margins.
  • Initiate and Appraise Marketing Promotional activities in terms of Category Brand performance, visibility and awareness
  • Negotiate with Media partners, Outdoor and Advertising Agencies to ensure cost-effective utilization and compliance of the marketing budget
  • Conduct Consumer Survey.

The person must:

  • Have good interpersonal skills
  • Be very detailed and research oriented.

Qualification/Experience

  • A Bachelors Degree with 5 ‘O’ level credits including Mathematics and English in not more than 2 sitting
  • Membership of NIPR and NIM
  • MBA an added advantage
  • Minimum 10 years sales experience in a major FMCG blue chip organization

Job Title: Consumer Insight Manager
Location: Nigeria
The Job

  • Act as the link between Consumer Marketing and the field Sales team
  • Develop a TM strategy and annual TM plan for each category in the portfolio which delivers excellent trade execution to support/deliver the key consumer/brand objectives
  • Develop and provide the Sales teams with appropriate tools and support materials to drive outstanding execution of the Trade Marketing category plans (sales presenters, Point Of Sale materials)
  • Develop a trade visibility programme
  • Develop subordinates in the Trade Marketing team to build a bench for the future

The person must:

  • Be self-motivated
  • Be a “people-person”
  • Be able to multi-task
  • Have good interpersonal skills
  • Be very detailed and research oriented.

Qualification/Experience

  • A Bachelors Degree with 5 ‘O’ level credits including Mathematics and English in not more than 2 sitting. MBA an added advantage
  • Minimum 7 years sales experience in a major FMCG blue chip organization
  • Experience of Trade Marketing

Job Title: National Sales Capability Manager
Location: Nigeria
The Job

  • Responsible for enabling the FMN Consumer (Traditional Trade, Modern Trade) and Foodservice business units to build core sales capabilities to deliver growth expectations and build a talent bench for the future
  • Ensure the execution of both on-the-job and classroom training interventions as defined in the sales capability plan
  • Establish performance metrics for each role in the Sales team (including distributor Sales staff) and continuously evaluate the organization against these criteria
  • Evaluate and test competencies of the Salesforce to identify skill gaps
  • Establish a Train the Trainer program for appropriate training interventions
  • Drive the transfer of Sales best practice across business units and Sales regions

Job Title: Sales Development Officer- Redistribution Dealers
Location: Nigeria
The Job

  • Responsible for managing and developing all aspects of FMN business relationship/Performance with one Redistribution Dealer(RD) to ensure KPI objectives are met
  • Manage the day-to-day interactions with the RD to achieve 100% of the agreed objectives
  • Manage the retail redistribution team and ensure all teams deliver against their monthly KPIs
  • Monitor competitive retail activity in the RD territory and reports any significant finding to line manager
  • Coach the RD redistribution team working closely with the Area Sales Capability Manager to ensure that all training is embedded in the daily ways of working and that the agreed SOP is being followed

Job Title: Category Trade Marketing Officer
Location: Nigeria
The Job

  • Responsible for developing/executing the annual Trade Marketing plan for a specific product category(ies) to deliver the company’s growth expectations for that category(ies)
  • Ensure that the brand plans/objectives are fully reflected in the Trade Marketing activities
  • Develop channel specific activities to exploit the particular opportunities identified for the assigned category(ies)
  • Ensure timeline plans are executed in full and on time
  • Develop and provide the Sales teams with appropriate tools and support materials to drive outstanding execution of the TM category plan
  • Work closely with the regional sales teams to execute the plan, including spending a significant amount of time in the trade/field
  • Ensure that all NPDs are fully supported by a comprehensive TM activity programme to maximise the chance of success for the new product(s)
  • Develop clear objectives for each Trade activity and undertake pre- and post-promotion evaluation to determine Return On Investment and if the activity met its objectives
